Brief description
Black and white aerial photograph of Waltham Abbey with Quaker Lane towards the bottom, the Abbey Church and Gardens towards the left hand side and Crooked Mile at the to right hand side. Sun Street is running across the centre of the photograph. There is open land next to the Police Station (where library now stands) and opposite the entrance into Darby Drive (now with round ended building). Quaker Lane and Derby Drive car parks are full of cars and there are cars parked around the edges of Market Square. There is a white border around the photograph, broader at the bottom. Reverse has handwritten 125 G top right hand corner and W/A Sun Street towards Centre.
