Photograph has a fenced off area in the centre with a pile of earth at the left hand side, there are 2 ladders leaning on the earth pile. The top left interior of the fenced off area has a skip with a wheelbarrow in front; the top right has a table with a man standing behind; outside this area area group of people looking at the table / man. The bottom right of the fenced off area has a hole with plank shoring visible. there are two figures by this hole. There are figures looking into the fenced off area on the right and bottom sides. There is a bicycle to the left and cars parked on the left hand side and in front of the shops and boarded area to the top of the photograph. A car is approaching the pedestrian crossing on Sun Street. There are people walking across the square, standing in front of Barclays bank and on the pavement . There are benches in front of the boarded off open space (now built on) next to the building with the dragon beam (Now Turkish barbers) Reverse has handwritten 185.5; 58 - 36; u /l Brom A 4 x 10 and red stamped 7 AUG 1981.
