Brief description
Colour photograph of part of upper story and roof of Waltham Abbey Town Hall. Left foreground is part of red tiled pitched roof surrounded by grey slabs, and joined to red brick building with 2 arched windows visible. Windows are surrounded by red brick arch which is topped by a brick Dutch style gable with grey slabbed tops. Behind is a pitched red tiled roof. with 2 small dormers with round windows in a white surround, and tiled top. On the tiled roof ridge is a central white cylindrical feature with a conical top surmounted by a spike. There is a leafless tree in left background. Reverse has a black biro straight line and a black biro wavy line across towards the top. Typed on back ' 64 2105 9-08-81 8 +0 +0 +0 +01 NN -7 0849' Narrow white bands on left and right edge of image.
