Brief description
Black and white photograph, with border, of a detached house, behind a well maintained hedge towards the left of the image. The house is two storey and has a dormer window in the pitched roof, there are 2 chimney stacks and the right side of the building has 2 gable ends. The front has an open porch beside a large window. The street name The Drive is visible towards the right end of the hedge. Beyond this is a path / driveway leading to a 1 storey building. There is a lamppost on the right side of the pathway. There is black ink 1 in the top right corner. Reverse has handwritten in blue ink 'No 1 The Drive Buckhurst Hill' There is a central, oval, Chigwell UDC Surveyors Department stamp dated 5 Feb 1964, and a Paul J Parry stamp.
