Brief description
Black and white photograph, with border, taken across a road, looking towards a lamppost on the pavement, there are low posts lining the verge behind the pavement. There is a bus stop sign to the right of the lamppost. To the left is a house, behind a wooden fence with shrub / hedge above. On reverse written in pencil is 23768 and by Braeside, and in blue ink School, High Road B. Hill Circa 1947. There is a Chigwell Urban District Surveyors Department, oval stamp with 11 Oct 1973, and a red stamp for the General Electric Company Ltd.
