Brief description
Black and white photograph, with border of a 4 storey, semi detached building with steps leading to front doors on first floor with basement visible. The basement and first floor have bay windows and the front doors are in the centre. The building is brick built with stone features. There are 2 women standing on the pavement to the left of the building and mature trees to the end of the building. To the left is a part sign visible indicating the urban district with scaffolding behind and to the right there is a partial sign for P. G .Evan & Sons Ltd. Reverse has typed in black ink Chigwell Urban District Council St. John's Terrace Buckhurst Hill. Tooley and Foster, Chartered Architects, Buckhurst Hill. April, 1959 and in pencil E & S and a crossed out encircled 12.
