Brief description
Black and white aerial photograph, with border of Buckhurst Hill. The bottom right corner of the image is open land with an area of trees to its left; the top left corner is forest, the remainder is a built up area. On the reverse handwritten in ink, top left ' Knighton Woods'; left upper centre 'Westbury Lane feature'; Lower left 'Photo 1962'; upper right 'Congregational Church towards the right of photo'; and lower right 'Forest Hospital 3" from right and 3" from bottom of photo'. There are 2 ink stamps one for Chigwell UDC Surveyors dated 2 Jan 1963 and one for Aero Films with Ref A103899.
