To the left of this sign is a Green shield stamps advert. On the reverse handwritten in blue ink is '20. Montroe Motors Epping New Road, Buckhurst Hill. rec'd 4/12/70 and Remove Green Shield advertise sign attached to road sign' and in pencil E. Bell, J. Turner. Bo28 and 1/21A.
