The top shaped sign is for Chigwell Urban District and has a shield in a piece that is central and above the written part. The lower sign is rectangular and has Buckhurst Hill in black text. There are round poles connecting the signs to each other and the ground. On the reverse handwritten in blue ink, ' Boundary Sign Brook Rd. B. Hill. Aug 1964'
