Black and white photograph, with border, taken looking across a road and pavement towards a dark wooden fence with the horizon beyond. There is the top of buildings visible on the left and some trees. On reverse handwritten in blue ink 'Feb 1964. Loughton from Spring Grove between Summerfield Road and The Avenue. Note was Fire Station Tower.'
