Black and white photograph, with border, of a view from behind a crane which is bringing an object down towards a pile of scrap. In the bottom right hand corner there is a group of people watching. On reverse handwritten in red ink ' Scrap from old bridge being deposited by crane on road. Road was closed night Sat / Sun and Sunday. 11.20 am 17/10/65.'
