Black and white photograph, with border, of a number of mature trees, close together, behind a low wall, obscuring a building in the background. On reverse, handwritten in blue ink, 'Spring 1961. "The Shrubberies" High Road Loughton - prior to L.C.S. Co-op Supermarket.' There is a Chigwell UDC ink stamp partially printed over the blue ink.
