Brief description
Black and white photograph of a street - central straight road with buildings on the side. Lampposts on pavements with light curving across towards road. Female riding bicycle coming down the road, with another woman in checked coat walking up the right side pavement. Reverse has handwritten in blue ink 'High Rd L'ton from path in front of the Crown P.H. circa 1947. There is a black ink stamp oval for Chigwell Urban District Council Surveyors Department with a date of 11 October 1973. A handwritten in pencil 23767. Bottom right has a red ink stamped 'Photograph No. F...... This photograph ids the property of the General Electric Co. Ltd.
