Brief description
Black and white photograph of Chigwell UDC council offices. Front building is two storied with a pitched rood, central porchway with square fronted tower above, surmounted by flag pole. Flat roofed buildings behind, with housing behind. Right side front corner is a house. There are vehicles parked in front of the main building with a lorry passing on the roadway in front. Handwritten in black ink on the reverse ' Chigwell U.D.C offices Old Station Road, Loughton 7th Feb 1967' Black ink stamped in centre reads ' Photographer and Photographic Dealer (then indistinct text) 94 High Road Loughton.
