Brief description
Black and white photograph of Chigwell UDC council offices. Front building is two storied with a pitched rood, central porchway with square fronted tower above, surmounted by flag pole. Flat roofed buildings behind, with housing behind. Right side front corner is a semi detached house, right hand side is a shop (commercial printers?). There are vehicles parked in front of the main building. Left hand corner of image has a low building with rubbish beside, behind a fence. Black ink stamp on reverse ' Chigwell Urban District Council Surveyors Department dated 11 October 1973' Black ink stamped in centre reads ' (indistinct text) 94 High Road Loughton.'
