Brief description
Black and white photograph, with white border, with semidetached shop building. The ground floor has 2 shops, left hand side a newsagents and tobacconists with central sign 'Senior Service satisfy'; the right had side L.C.SMITH, a butchers, the upper storey has bay windows in the centre with a smaller rectangular window to the outside; the roof line is flat but has a 3 stepped frontage, The newsagents has an adult female wearing a pale coat in the doorway and outside there are bicycles and A boards, in front of the butchers there is a group of 5 children, 2 on tricycles and by the doorway 2 women and a pushchair. To the right of the building is a wooden fence with an advertisement for the film at the Granada. (Von Ryans Express). Reverse has 1 in the top right corner and in blue ink from left ' 121 + 123 Roding Road near X Roads with Valley Hill on right - a car parked in Valley Hill. Photo Summer 1965.'
