Brief description
Black and white photograph of semi detached houses with tiled roofs and chimney. Buildings have white walls and entrance doors and windows under tiled canopies, upper floor has 2 windows, some of which are open. There are small garden behind fences with a path separating them from gardens behind chain fences. Reverse has Chigwell in pencil crossed out in top left corner and an encircled 2 bottom right. In ink is handwritten ' circa 1947 -50 Semi-detached houses in Kirby Close. Photographed by' and with the red stamp of Tooley and Foster.
