Black and white photograph of residential street. Road leads from bottom right towards left centre where it meets anther road / path. Pavement to right hand side is flanked by fencing / hedging. 2 stories white building behind with bay windows on the facing gable and left hand side of front. 2 in centre of front with window above and to the right. Chimneys at both ends. More housing beyond and other side of junction. Trees in background. Image has dark border with corners that are over exposed? White backwards writing to bottom of image reads Carol Hill. Reverse in pencil has Carrol Hill, L'ton 1930? Photo received from J. Broadbridge 28/04/65. In blue ink line leading vertically down from Broadbridge to 'of No 23 Priory Road, Loughton.' Separate comment reads Photo is not reversed see "Carol Hill" backwards!!! - scraped on back of plate?
