Black and white photograph with white border of building site, post demolition, pre build. Site is surrounded by fencing. Top right has a view, through opening, onto a road. Slope of wooden planks leads to lower ground level; mechanical digger in bottom left corner of site. Top right has 4 large blocks against a vertical bank. Debris visible across site. Single storey huts in top right corner. Reverse, handwritten in black ink CROWN SITE. LOUGHTON MAY 3RD 1966 and towards centre No 8. There is a black ink stamp for Alan Kay Studios lower, left centre.
