Brief description
Black and white photograph with white border taken looking down onto a building site. The junction of High Road. Old Station Road and Connaught Avenue Loughton is visible centre top of image. The site has high wooden fencing along the top and down the left hand side with 2 open entrances on Old Station Road. The upper entrance leads to a roadway which has a concrete mixer lorry, a truck and a caterpillar tracked digger on it. There are 4 huts visible on a concrete platform . Reverse has handwritten in turquoise ink, top right corner, Crown Site, Loughton, 6th Sept '66 and towards the centre No.4. There is an Alan Kay ink stamp.
