Brief description
Black and white photograph with white border of part of a building site taken from above. Top left of photograph shows junction of Old Station Road, High Road Loughton and Connaught Avenue. The site is surrounded by high wooden fencing and there is an open gateway leading onto Old Station Road. There is a dumper truck on the road / pathway on the site. There is a mechanical digger with raised bucket lower centre of the image and a car parked towards the top right of the site. There are workmen on the concrete platform, in the dumper truck and working towards the bottom right. Reverse has handwritten Crown Site, Loughton, May 3rd 1966, No. 13 and the ink stamp of Alan Kay Studios.
