Black and white photograph with white border taken across a building site with housing and a tall cuboid tower (Fire station training tower?) There is a mechanical digger towards the fencing surrounding the site, there are different ground levels in the site with a hole with wooden shuttering, trenches and earth banks. There are metal rods in a number of places (preparing for concrete structures?) Reverse has handwritten, Crown Site, Loughton May 3rd 1966; No. 15 and the stamp of Alan Kay Studios,
