There is a sign in the vegetation on the right hand side 'PRIVATE ROAD' There is a green handwritten A towards the top right corner. Reverse typed in black is No.2. View up Steads Way from York Hill. Also cottage (Mr. Sanders) on left. Note: Slope up; Irregular kerb; Loose stones ; Rough Carriageway; Negligible footway; Rain has washed loose stones at Junction down York Hill. July 1962. There is a Paul J Parry ink stamp with the Ref 2247/C.
