Mounted black and white photograph of North West corner of Market Square, in 1920, with the Welsh Harp public house seen on the right, with the abbey church behind. Note the plain front to the Welsh Harp, unlike today, where the beams are exposed. On the left are men standing by the lampost talking, with E J Ripley shop behind (on the left).
Donor's neighbour's husband lived in Waltham Abbey.
