Brief description
Highbridge Street looking east from the Refinery Bridge, Waltham Abbey, c1920? County Court on the left, built in 1849. On the right are the Almshouses and The Ordnance Arms public chouse. All wrecked by a German V2 in 1945. Horse and cart laden with items can be seen by the County Court building. Large tree foliage in foreground.
Donor's neighbour's husband lived in Waltham Abbey.
