Brief description
Ceramic saucer made by Broadhurst factory in Staffordshire. 'Katie Winkle' design VISCOUNT range. First introduced by the Broadhurst factory in 1963. It features a border of elipses in black and white with blocks of orange and green. Stamped on base: IRONSTONE BROADHURST STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND Katie Winkle DESIGN HANDPAINTED UNDERGLAZE COLOUR IS DETERGENT AND DISHWASHER PROOF VISCOUNT.
Used at Whitebridge Primary School in Loughton (which opened in 1952).
