Brief description
Handmade plush mouse toy: Wilfred Toadflax. Part of a set of 6 Brambly Hedge plush toys made by the donor's mother, Alice Williamson when she was aged 80 in 1984, using The Brambly Hedge Pattern Book (EPPMS.2024.8.7), page 21-28.
Mouse head consists of simple plain black plastic beads for eyes and nose, and brown felt ears. He is wearing a red and white striped cotton top. Over this are blue denim dungarees and the bib has cream stitching around it. The dungarees cross over at the back and there are two pockets on the back.The mouse is holding a small catapult in his right hand. The mouse tail and feet are visible (brown felt).
