Brief description
Colour photograph of four people posing for the camera. The two men in the centre are wearing the uniform of a Chelsea Pensioner. The two young women either side of him are wearing blue cloaks, blue sashes and jewelled tiaras. The wording on the sashes is partially obscured but appears to read "Royal British Legion Carnival Queen". All three are collecting for the Poppy Appeal. Handwritten text on the rear of the photograph identifies it as "Chelsea Pensioners selling poppies W/A". Dated 13 November 1993.
